Admissions Associate
Reports To: Director of Admissions

The Role
The Admissions Associate plays a key role in growing Queen Margaret’s School’s admission pipeline through relationship-building and strategic recruitment, with a primary focus on boarding students.
With a focus on domestic and international markets, you will guide prospective students and families from first inquiry through to enrollment—building trust, managing a strong pipeline, and contributing to long-term enrollment sustainability.
You will also develop and manage relationships with educational agents and partners to strengthen international recruitment channels.
This role blends relationship management, market development, and enrollment execution, with both autonomy and accountability for results within assigned markets.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Outreach
- Represent the school at events, visits, and recruitment travel
- Build relationships with feeder schools and community partners
- Execute recruitment strategies across domestic and international boarding markets
Family Engagement & Enrollment
- Conduct interviews with prospective students and families
- Guide families through the admissions journey with clarity and care
- Manage and convert inquiries to enrollment within assigned markets
- Provide personalized, high-value engagement to support decision-making
Agent & Partnership Management
- Build and maintain relationships with educational agents
- Develop systems to track and support partner engagement
- Contribute to the growth of international recruitment channels
Pipeline & Market Management
- Build and manage a strong admissions pipeline
- Track progress from inquiry to enrollment
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within assigned markets
- Contribute to enrollment forecasting and class shaping discussions
Admissions Collaboration
- Participate in file review and admissions discussions
- Support tours, events, and broader admissions operations
- Collaborate with the Director and team on recruitment strategy and priorities
What You Bring
- Experience in admissions, recruitment, or a relationship-driven role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across in-person, virtual, and written formats
- Flexibility for significant travel upwards of 10 weeks a year both locally and internationally, and occasional local evenings/weekends
- Ability to build trust and guide families through complex decisions
- Comfort working across cultures and within international markets
- Self-starter with strong organization, follow-through, and time management
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new market opportunities
- Results-oriented with a sense of ownership over enrollment outcomes
Assets:
- Experience with international student recruitment
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft 365
