About the role
**CASUAL NOON HOUR ASSISTANTS **
Coquitlam School District invites applications for Casual Noon Hour Assistants. As the third largest school district in the province we are located within a 40-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. The school district has a population of 34,000 students with approximately 4,400 teaching, administrative, managerial and support staff.
Casual Noon Hour Assistants are required throughout the school district to be available on an on-call basis to supervise students indoors and outdoors during lunch break (one hour per day). Duties include ensuring students are safe, monitoring the site to ensure the security of students, as well as promoting acceptable behavior among students. Previous experience working with groups of children is an asset.
We offer $25.60 per hour, plus 16% in lieu of benefits. We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis.
Successful candidates are subject to two police checks to the employer’s satisfaction prior to confirmation of hiring.
