Course Information

This course focuses on understanding principles related to equity, diversity, and inclusion and ethical practice for behaviour analysts. Learners investigate research and practice recommendations for implementing behaviour analysis practices with clients and families, organizations, colleagues, students, trainees, supervisees, and others.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of the course, including but not limited to: developing, preparing, and delivering the course; setting and marking examinations, assessing the academic work of students, and reporting grades.

Candidates must be willing to undertake training as required by the Employer including, but not limited to, training in respect of health and safety, harassment and discrimination, and legislated service standards.

Qualifications

Candidates must have an EdD or PhD, with a doctoral degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) or a closely related field with specialized expertise in ABA. Knowledge of contemporary theoretical and practical approaches in behaviour analysis, evidence-based interventions, and their application across diverse contexts is required. A demonstrated capacity for excellence in instruction for Online adult learners is essential. Experience in the specific course area is required and successful Online doctoral teaching experience is preferred.

Knowledge of ethical guidelines, cultural responsiveness frameworks, and equity-focused practices in behaviour analysis is required. Experience in navigating ethical dilemmas in diverse contexts and implementing culturally responsive behavioural support is required. Preference will be given to applicants with experience addressing ethical considerations across diverse populations and settings, and developing inclusive practices within behavioural service delivery models.
