Casual School Secretary
Hours of work: as needed basis
Terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Employment for Non-Union Employees (AVRCE).
Reporting to the school Principal:
Qualifications and Abilities:
- Must be able to work independently and accurately while on a flexible schedule.
- Proven secretarial skills with strong communication, collaborative, and organizational abilities.
- Completion of recognized degree or diploma program in office administration is required.
Requirements:

A demonstrated caring for and interest in working with students.

The ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and the public.

The ability to use current office procedures and computer software, telephone answering skills, and the ability to work with frequent interruptions.

Effective written communication skills.

Enthusiasm and a pleasant manner.
A selection process will be conducted for short-listed applicants.Confirmation of your educational qualifications must be included with your application.
The successful applicant will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check and a completed Child Abuse Registry.
