Job Title: Production Manager Location: Thessalon, Ontario, Canada Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role We are hiring for one of our clients, a leading heavy building materials manufacturer in North America. We are seeking a Production Manager who will share accountability for safety, environment, customer service, performance, quality, human resources, plant image, and community relations at the site. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will have direct accountability for specific functions in the Aggregates operation. The successful candidate must be highly organized and follow a disciplined approach toward execution.

What You Will Accomplish Implement and track maintenance, production processes, and strategies to achieve targeted Operational Performance Indicators (OPIs). Employ daily communication processes with management and Quality Control to drive group efficiencies, manage inventories, and optimize production performance. Manage stockpile inventories effectively. Assist in planning, driving, and tracking financial performance using local and regional tools. Develop, implement, and manage annual repair budgets, performing financial analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities. Forecast profitability and production to optimize yield while supporting the supply chain by balancing inventory and sales needs. Take direct responsibility for the individual development, motivation, and training of all direct reports to maximize their performance. Ensure site-level compliance with Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) guidelines, as well as all corporate and regulatory standards. Promote a culture of safety by communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments.

What We Are Looking For Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree; Engineering or Business field of study preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven operational and supervisory experience in a relevant industrial environment. Safety Requirement: Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and the proper use of approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
