About the Role
We’re looking for a highly strategic and execution-focused leader to join our team as Director, Planning & Operational Excellence. In this role, you will serve as the operational central operational leader for Vehicle Acquisition, integrating governance, performance management, executive readiness, process optimization, AI enablement, and forward-looking planning across the entire function. You will ensure KPIs are standardized and actionable, leadership reviews are predictable and streamlined, and operational risks are surfaced early. This role balances execution with strategic foresight, preparing the organization for future state requirements while maintaining disciplined performance today.
What You’ll Do
- Standardize KPI frameworks across all pillars
- Enforce reporting discipline and governance standards
- Consolidate performance tracking into structured scorecards
- Prepare leadership materials for executive steering committees and enterprise forums
- Eliminate redundant decks and ensure consistent messaging across presentations
- Lead cross-pillar process enhancement initiatives and identify workflow inefficiencies
- Oversee AI implementation efforts focused on workflow automation and productivity gains
- Act as integrator across Directors to align stakeholders and surface risks and trends
- Develop forward-looking operational plans and cross-pillar dependency heatmaps
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years in operational leadership, performance management, or enterprise operations roles
- Proven success standardizing KPI frameworks and governance models
- Experience serving as integrator across multi-functional teams
- Strong executive communication and presentation capability
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements at scale
- AI enablement and workflow automation initiatives expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: College/University degree preferred.
- Lean / Operational Excellence background
- Experience leading governance and performance management functions
- Experience working across large, multi-pillar operational ecosystems
Current Location: Mississauga. Our Mississauga office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026
The hiring base salary range for this position is $133,400 - $183,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
