Qualifications/Experience:

Students with prior experience in clerical roles, record keeping and website management are preferred.

Given that the nature of the position is Indigenous-focused research, preference will be given to those who self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Metis or Inuit).

Duties:

The successful applicant will work with Dr. Velvet Maud to support the routine publication of the Canadian Journal of Native Studies. The Editorial Assistant will be responsible for record-keeping, clerical duties, website management and assisting in the collection of articles and other works in the journal. Duties will also include the digital formatting of the CJNS and other relevant duties as assigned.
