Reporting to the Director of PMO and Integration, Mergers and Acquisitions, the Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of medium and large-scale projects. He participates in project development, preliminary and feasibility studies, with the aim of increasing the company's productivity. He plans and coordinates teams to bring projects to fruition while respecting business objectives, deadlines and budgets.
Your day will look like this:
- Installation, configuration and switching on audio, video, control and electric equipment sold by Solotech
- Remain up to date and get information on technological and audiovisual products
- Work closely with the Lead Technicians
- Represent Solotech with clients
- Coordinate the various craftsmen on the building site
- Keep the truck’s inventory updated and with sufficient quantities (material and cabling)
- Ensure that the work is performed according health and safety requirements and existing laws
- Maintain the tools and the trucks in good condition
- Read and ensure follow up of technical drawings (schemes, simple drawings, rigging details, etc.)
- Participate in training sessions regarding new technologies and products
Your profile:
- Experience in installation of audiovisual systems
- Possess a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- Flexible and able to adapt to different situations
- Autonomous, rigorous, disciplined and efficient in team work
- Capacity to analyze and resolve different problems
- Comfortable with a computer and the Windows environment
- Knowledge of audio systems, lighting, video, control and/or videoconference equipment
- Able to obtain the security accreditation to work on governmental projects.

- Solotech provides a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position in accordance with Ontario pay transparency requirements. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, location, experience, training, certifications, and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined at the time of hire. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly wage range is $27.50 to $32.86.
