What to Expect:
As the Marketing Manager for Genestra Brands, this role offers the exciting opportunity to work with our diverse portfolio within the Vitamins, Minerals, Herbal Supplements (VMHS) business. In this role, you will not only contribute to the growth of Genestra Brands but also help to unlock its full potential. By leveraging outstanding practices, you will play a pivotal role in defining and refining our go-to-market strategies, while exploring new avenues for brand expansion. Working daily with cross-functional teams, you will have the autonomy and support to bring these plans to life and thrive in your role. This position is an existing vacancy.
A day in the life:
- Lead and support the development of 18-month and 3-year plans for Genestra Brands in Canada, in line with Global ambitions.
- Build Brand through translation of insights into action. Responsible for defining patient/consumer and healthcare professional (HCP) perceived value, creating compelling communication and effective media strategies, and working closely with the cross-functional teams to develop a 3-year innovation & renovation pipeline that is relevant and financially sound.
- Leverage key consumer and customer insights to develop strategies that build competitive advantage across the 4Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) across multiple segments and channels, growing the core portfolio, and successfully bringing new products to the market.
- Lead the development of annual media and communication plans with external agency partners and external suppliers, driving consistent & relevant brand experiences & messages that break-through within the Canadian market and ultimately show brand growth.
- Plan and implement flawlessly by partnering with the Sales and Category teams to optimize and amplify brand plans at the Customer level
- Responsible for improving Return of Investment year over year and spend efficiency.
- Work closely with the digital and eBusiness teams to build and implement outstanding strategies, focusing on eCommerce, B2B, B2B2C, and other relevant areas.
Role Requirements
- University degree in Business or Marketing, or an equivalent combination of formal education and proven experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of successful brand/product management experience (including leading agency teams) from CPG, OTC/Consumer Health or Life Sciences environments.
- Visionary, decisive and analytical nature with the ability to drive business results at the strategic and executional levels.
- Solid understanding of marketing vehicles and marketing fundamentals
- Experience in managing multi-channel and multi-audience (individuals receiving care and medical providers) marketing communications.
- Agile and able to adjust in a fast-paced ever-changing environment, comfortable taking calculated risks and doing things differently to carve a new way forward.
- Ability to manage high priority, complex, and central initiatives.
- Knowledge of financial planning, forecasting assortment planning and inventory management
