Role Description The Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of properties in Calgary, AB, ensuring they are well-maintained, compliant, and financially sound. This full-time hybrid role includes on-site visits, inspections, and meetings with residents and vendors, as well as administrative and reporting tasks that can be performed from home. Key duties include coordinating maintenance and repairs, managing leases and renewals, handling resident inquiries and concerns, overseeing rent collection, and preparing regular financial and occupancy reports. The Property Manager will also support marketing of vacancies, oversee move-in and move-out processes, and ensure adherence to local regulations and company policies. Qualifications Experience in property management, real estate, or facilities management, with a strong understanding of residential and/or commercial building operations. Proficiency in property management or CRM software, along with solid skills in Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, owners, vendors, and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner. Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple properties, tasks, and deadlines in a hybrid work environment. Knowledge of local housing regulations, lease agreements, and basic financial concepts such as budgeting and rent collection. Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with sound judgment and attention to detail. Ability to conduct property inspections, oversee maintenance projects, and coordinate with contractors and service providers. Prior experience in Calgary or familiarity with the local market is an asset; relevant certification or education in property management, business, or a related field is preferred.
