Sanitation Coordinator
About the role
WAGE RANGE: $25.21- $29.03
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Sanitation Coordinator is primarily responsible for the in-depth sanitation and cleanliness of assigned areas of the plant. In addition, the incumbent may have a variety of duties such as pest treatments, assisting in the warehouse, flour packing, mill, and other departments upon receiving supervisory approval.
Responsibilities:
Sanitation:
- Maintains sanitation of assigned areas of the plant, ensuring areas are clean to BRC standards, and pest-free.
- Ensures tasks are completed as outlined in the Quality Assurance master sanitation schedule.
- Fills out all appropriate paperwork.
- Ensures required communication takes place regarding sanitation completed or in progress.
- Reports all leaks and malfunctions in all areas to appropriate Supervisor or Plant Manager
- Maintains good sanitary condition in production facility.
- Reports sanitation issues to operators and Plant Manager/QA Supervisor
- Assist with maintaining machinery in good operating condition, in co-operation with Maintenance Department
- Is aware of critical control points as they relate to product liability.
- Follow Good Manufacturing (GMP’s) while performing job duties and tasks.
- Performs all other related job duties and assignments, including training, as required.
- Responsible for compliance with Canada Labour Occupational Health and Safety requirements and company safety standards
REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 or equivalent
-
Detail orientated.

Available for shift work, weekends and holidays as required.

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, able to work independently or with a team.

Forklift and scissor left experience is an asset. (Rogers Foods provides training and certification)
