WAGE RANGE: $25.21- $29.03

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Sanitation Coordinator is primarily responsible for the in-depth sanitation and cleanliness of assigned areas of the plant. In addition, the incumbent may have a variety of duties such as pest treatments, assisting in the warehouse, flour packing, mill, and other departments upon receiving supervisory approval.

Responsibilities:

Sanitation:

  • Maintains sanitation of assigned areas of the plant, ensuring areas are clean to BRC standards, and pest-free.
  • Ensures tasks are completed as outlined in the Quality Assurance master sanitation schedule.
  • Fills out all appropriate paperwork.
  • Ensures required communication takes place regarding sanitation completed or in progress.
  • Reports all leaks and malfunctions in all areas to appropriate Supervisor or Plant Manager
  • Maintains good sanitary condition in production facility.
  • Reports sanitation issues to operators and Plant Manager/QA Supervisor
  • Assist with maintaining machinery in good operating condition, in co-operation with Maintenance Department
  • Is aware of critical control points as they relate to product liability.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing (GMP’s) while performing job duties and tasks.
  • Performs all other related job duties and assignments, including training, as required.
  • Responsible for compliance with Canada Labour Occupational Health and Safety requirements and company safety standards

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent

  • Detail orientated.

  • Available for shift work, weekends and holidays as required.

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, able to work independently or with a team.

  • Forklift and scissor left experience is an asset. (Rogers Foods provides training and certification)
