About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and business-focused Data Analyst to join our Finance team. Partner with finance and business stakeholders to understand challenges and deliver data-driven solutions.

Act as a trusted advisor, educating internal customers on analytics tools, financial data literacy, and best practices to empower self-service and informed decision-making.

Guide Finance teams through their data journey—helping them identify, access, and leverage financial data.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define and establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that accurately reflect financial health and uncover key cost drivers.

Apply predictive analytics techniques to anticipate trends, identify risks, and support proactive financial strategies.

Lead requirements gathering sessions to define business needs and translate them into effective reporting and visualization solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx for financial performance monitoring.

Analyze complex financial datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that solve real business problems.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate and streamline financial data processes.

Support and enhance data governance practices, including data quality, integrity, and stewardship across Finance systems and processes.

Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues on interpreting financial data and applying analytical techniques.

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, data analytics, finance, or related field.

2–5 years of experience in data analytics, data management, finance, or business analysis.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.

Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, and Excel.

Microsoft PL-300 certification is considered an asset.

Experience with ERP tools (e.g., JD Edwards E1) is an asset.

Ability to explain complex data concepts in a clear and engaging way to non-technical audiences.

Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative approach to analytics.

Background in statistics, data modeling, or Six Sigma is considered an asset.

CPA designation is considered an asset.
