The Opportunity Shape the future of structural engineering in British Columbia. In this role, you’ll lead construction administration for impactful projects, ensuring quality and compliance while mentoring the next generation of engineers.
Your Impact
- Oversee structural engineering projects during construction administration to ensure alignment with contract documents.
- Review submissions, shop drawings, and third-party inspection reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct site visits, chair meetings, and issue clear, actionable reports and instructions.
- Manage RFIs, progress reports, payment certifications, and change management documentation.
- Collaborate with contractors and inspection agencies to resolve deficiencies and maintain schedules.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Licensed P.Eng in British Columbia with 10–15 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Proven expertise in concrete, steel, and wood design, plus hands-on construction administration experience.
- Familiarity with institutional, industrial, and transportation projects in the local market.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and contract language.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and readiness for fieldwork.

Compensation Salary range (in British Columbia): $91,200 to $125,400
The final salary awarded for this role may vary based on education, experience, skills, and business needs.
