Englobe is looking for a Project Coordinator to work within the Project Management team in their Dartmouth office.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Actively participates in projects, provides assistance, manages client input/feedback, and general coordination.
- Working with single or multidisciplinary design teams on the project to ensure efficient and sustainable project delivery.
- Successfully develops relationships with clients, industry affiliates, engineers, technologists, technicians, and construction personnel.
- Coordinates and assists with the preparation of engineering specifications, drawings, and quantity/opinions on probable cost.
- Preparation of reports, proposals, and tender/bid submissions, budgets, project plans, and other supporting documentation, as required and directed by the project manager.
- Coordinating tender phase and construction phase services, including the issuance of addendums, shop drawing review, and Request for Information (RFI) tracking.
- Estimating and scheduling of projects, invoicing, including close out review, and update/maintenance of company-related data and resources.
- Monitoring project budgets and tracking financial pursuits including proposals and change orders.
- Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety policies and procedures.
- Apply and promote Englobe’s security policies and procedures
What Makes You Unique
- A degree, diploma, or certification from a recognized post-secondary institution (Engineering, Technologies, or Project Management) or equivalent project coordination background (minimum 1-3 years). New Grad’s will be considered.
- A comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel are required.
- Excellent command of English grammar, spelling and composition, as well as oral communication and interpersonal skills. French language skills considered an asset.
- Confidence to participate in regular meetings, and eager to coordinate with team members in person, on the phone, and via email.
- Professional, energetic, and action-oriented.
- Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work individually and as a team member, within a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Effectively manages a variety of tasks and/or initiatives, often occurring simultaneously.
- Able to balance work and personal requirements.
- Enjoys working in a professional office environment, with occasional client and/or site visits.
Additional Desired Skills:
- Experience working within a Design-Consulting team environment is considered an asset.
- Experience with NMS standard specifications.
- Collaborating and coordinating projects with multi-discipline teams including (PM, mechanical, electrical, civil, architectural, sub-consultants etc.)
- Using MS Project to develop project schedules.
