Salary Range**:** $28.085-$35.195 Hourly

Grade**:** SGEU.07.

The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety has an opportunity for a highly-motivated and organized individual to fill a term float pool position in stockroom at the Regina Correctional Centre (RCC).

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of stockroom. Responsibilities include training, instructing and supervising offenders in the collection, distribution of supplies, as well as maintaining the inventory control system and detailed ordering and receiving reports in QuickBooks.

As the successful candidate, you will have knowledge of human behaviour, the criminal justice system and security procedures as well as WHMIS, First Aid/CRP, communicable disease precautions and material management.

You should also have knowledge of motivational and instructional methods to demonstrate, train and teach offenders. You will also need to successfully complete a security skills/orientation program offered through RCC.

Hours of Work**:** C - SGEU Regulated 37.33 - one day off every three weeks

Criminal Record Check Requirement**:** The successful candidate shall be subject to a Criminal Record Check as a condition of employment
