Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Analyst, Business Accounting Support, on a permanent basis on our Local Co-op Financial Services and Systems team.
This hybrid position is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
This role puts you at the center of supporting local Co-ops with EFT, Accounts Receivable, and Patronage & Equity processes while driving accuracy, efficiency and impact. You will take on unique challenges within our co-operative model working hands on with banks, government agencies and local finance teams. What you’ll do:
- Provide guidance and support on EFTs, accounts receivable, tax remittances, and patronage/equity allocations for Local Co-ops.
- Assist Local Co-ops with amalgamations, allocations, CRA inquiries, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex accounting and banking issues in partnership with ISM, RBC, and BMO.
- Support process improvements and JDE implementation by documenting practices and recommending efficiencies.
- Identify opportunities to streamline services, build tools/training, and empower Local Co-ops in managing accounting functions.

The Team: You will support the Retail Accounting team and local Co-ops across the CRS, working closely with Controllers and administration staff on patronage, allocations, and accounting processes, reporting to the Supervisor, Business Accounting Support. Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
- Have a bachelor’s degree, majoring in accounting or finance.
- Have 1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or finance with 2+ years’ experience in process improvement, system upgrades/implementation, and data analysis.
- CRS experience or knowledge of patronage strongly preferred.
This opportunity is a Band 4– Management position and falls within the Professional career stream.
