What you’ll do…
We’re currently looking for an HR Generalist to join our team in creating a positive employee experience at EastGen! In this role you’ll play a key role in supporting the daily operations of a wide range of HR functions, spanning the entire employee lifecycle. This role is eligible for a hybrid working arrangement, with 3-days per week based from our Head office in Guelph, ON.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Provide coaching, guidance, and advice to people leaders
- Partner with leaders to support the end-to-end recruitment process
- Coordinate employee onboarding sessions
- Schedule and follow up on employee training completion
- Lead employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives
- Maintain employee records, people data, and HR reporting
- Provide guidance and support in our Health & Safety programs and initiatives
- Contribute to HR projects and administrative tasks as needed

You maintain a curious mindset and are dedicated to delivering a positive, people-focused experience. Ideally you will bring the following skills and abilities to this role:
- 3 years experience working in human resources
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field
- CHRP designation, completed or in progress is considered an asset
- Fluent in English with proven effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Advanced knowledge in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Well developed relationship building abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Estimated Compensation: $55,000 - $75,000. The final salary offer will be determined by your skills, experiences, and qualifications.
