About the role
I’m looking for an Engineer who wants their work to show up on the grid, not just in PowerPoints.
At Saint John Energy, our team is building projects like the Menahqwesk Kisuhs Energy Hub, a 10‑megawatt solar farm which will be the largest solar farm in NB and will cut more than 10,000 tonnes of emissions a year. We’re also rolling out an advanced digital grid, backed by 5.25 million dollars in federal funding, using data and AI to make our system more reliable and to help customers manage their energy use and costs.
This role is hands‑on: you’ll be close to the decisions, see your ideas move into the field, and work for a community‑owned utility that serves over 36,000 customers and is pushing toward net‑zero operations by 2030 through our Zero30 roadmap.
If you’re an engineer and this sounds like the kind of work you want to be doing in 2026, send me a message or please apply: https://sj.energy/engineer25
