Aquent is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Visual Designer to join our client’s innovative marketing team. In this part-time role, you’ll play a key role in shaping the digital face of their communications, directly impacting how millions of customers engage with their brand every week. Your creative vision will drive compelling email campaigns, translating strategic marketing goals into visually stunning and effective designs that resonate deeply with a broad audience. You will play a crucial part in maintaining brand consistency and elevating the overall digital presence, directly contributing to the success of key seasonal marketing strategies and customer engagement initiatives.

What You’ll Do As a Visual Designer, you will be at the heart of the digital marketing efforts, transforming strategic visions into tangible, impactful visual experiences. Your contributions will directly influence customer perception and interaction, ensuring every communication is both visually appealing and effective. You will:

  • Craft visually compelling email designs, executing creative concepts, and incorporating stakeholder revisions to deliver final, polished assets, including localized versions.
  • Collaborate closely with lead designers and marketing specialists to produce a high volume of impactful email campaigns weekly, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Uphold and champion established brand guidelines and design templates, creating cohesive digital collateral that supports overarching marketing strategies.
  • Prepare and optimize digital files using a suite of industry-standard Adobe programs to ensure high-quality output for various digital channels.
  • Adhere to established workflows and production schedules, maintaining an efficient and organized approach to content creation.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders to foster effective communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Perform photography edits and enhancements as needed to support visual content requirements.

What You’ll Bring We are looking for a creative and meticulous designer with a passion for digital communication and a proven track record of delivering exceptional visual experiences.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a design or visual-related industry, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing work in online channels.
  • Proficiency in Figma and a comprehensive suite of Adobe programs, including XD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects, with expertise in photo retouching, file optimization, and preparing files for digital use.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently apply and maintain brand standards and design guidelines across all projects.
  • Strong capability in image sourcing to find and select appropriate visual assets.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-activity environment, managing time effectively and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • A collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively within a team.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to continuously learn new skills and adapt to evolving design trends.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the discipline to follow a regimented workflow precisely.
  • Solid comprehension of user interface design principles and information architecture.
  • Ability to work effectively and stay connected in a remote or virtual setting.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Knowledge of website, email, UX, and UI design principles.
  • Familiarity with animation and motion design concepts.
  • Bilingual proficiency or the ability to read French.
