FundGuard is hiring a Customer Success Principal Consultant II to work within our Customer Success group as a technical liaison, and leader and key player in client implementations. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring successful new client adoption from the initial project oversight and planning, to provide ongoing support to ensure successful client go-live, as well as continuous client success.

Reporting to the Global Customer Success Director this role you will work in a client-facing environment where you will be responsible for driving and managing the implementation process for onboarding new adopters of our cloud-native investment accounting platforms. This is a hands-on role with end-to-end ownership of project implementation and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Product's involvement in projects so that they provide necessary implementation guidance and receiving useful feedback from the field.

• Serve as subject-matter expert in implementation, upgrading and added feature projects

• Analyze and evaluate requirements while providing guidance throughout the software implementation project.

• Ensure the solution meets the client’s business needs

• Educate clients on best practices and accounting system functionality

• Act as an escalation for client reported issues; thereby resolving complex client issues

• Develop relationships and engage with clients’ Accounting Operations team or clients’ technical team who support Accounting Operations

• Have a hands-on approach to FundGuard system and understand its inner workings

• Partner with engineering and product management teams to work through customer bugs & enhancement needs

• Document and communicate product improvements as part of client-specific projects or in response to product evolution

• Communication defects to Technical Support and Product Management

• Be accountable for client satisfaction metrics

• Become a FundGuard expert and discuss or educate on any nuance of the product internally and externally

Requirements:

• 10+ years of proven relevant experience in Investment Management, Insurance, FinTech, Investment Accounting, or Investment Operations
• 10+ years of experience in fund accounting or accounting domain
• Demonstrated success in prior client-facing roles
• Prior experience in SaaS implementation and technical consulting
• Should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgment calls
• Technical and functional knowledge of enterprise investment accounting software
• An understanding of investment accounting needs and current use cases of businesses
• Organizational skills — working with multiple customers
• Superior organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance/Economics, Accounting, Business or applicable field
• Travel up to 20% or as needed
• Co-locating with the client when necessary
• Requires permanent work authorization

Preferred Requirements:

• Active PMP Certification
• CFA, CPA, CMA Certification(s)
