What will I be learning?
- Maintain focus on tenant satisfaction and energy conservation
- Troubleshoot all aspects of HVAC in high-rise apartment buildings including condensing modulating boilers and variable-speed drives
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
- Provide consistent monitoring of automation systems
- Willingness and ability to learn how to monitor and fine-tune buildings through our automation systems
- Oversee HVAC-related mechanical projects
- Maintain HVAC logs as required
- Regularly update knowledge and skills through employer-sponsored educational programs
- Comply with all safety code requirements
What are the requirements?
- Enrolled in or completed Gas technician 3 license is required
- Basic understanding of HVAC troubleshooting skills is an asset
- Basic understanding of HVAC automation systems is an asset
- Interest in growing skills in refrigeration, preventative maintenance, remote monitoring, decarbonization, and energy management
- Efficient time manager with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong work ethic with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in-person, over the phone and via e-mail.
Additional Information
A satisfactory reference check, criminal records clearance, and proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 are required for the position, though the Company will provide any accommodation required by law.
