principles of Professional Practice at Canadian Natural. We are currently seeking an experienced Engineer or Geoscientist to advise on, coordinate, and lead activities related to professional practice at Canadian Natural. In this role, you will have the opportunity to guide the development and implementation of practice standards across our North American operations.

Key Accountabilities
-
Stay current on professional practice requirements across all four operating jurisdictions (APEGA, APEGS, EGM, and EGBC), and author updates to professional practice standards, including the Canadian Natural PPMP
-
Lead the PDTA governance framework by developing agendas and chairing both the PDTA Working Group and Steering Committee meetings
-
Maintain a robust register of Responsible Members across all jurisdictions, including delivering annual training, monitoring good standing requirements, and resolving professional title-related issues
-
In collaboration with the Steering Committee, maintain a strong and current PDTA membership team of Technical and Local Authorities for each discipline
-
Serve as the primary resource for questions related to Canadian Natural's professional practice standards and continuing professional development requirements
-
Manage digital signature processes (Notarius) and lead the company's response to internal and external professional practice audits, as required
What You Bring to the Role
-
Registered as a P. Eng or P. Geo in one of our four operating jurisdictions (e.g., APEGA)
-
Experience leading teams of engineers or geoscientists, with familiarity with engineering workflows
-
Understanding of Canadian Natural’s professional practice standards
-
Experience as a Responsible Member (RM)
