AIR INUIT - CORPORATE PROFILE Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo and emergency air transportation services to Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 45 years. Owned collectively by the Inuit of Nunavik through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 30 aircraft and employs over 1,000 people in one of the world's most demanding flying environments.

Position Overview Contributes to the computer efficiency of organizational activities by designing, configuring, administering, maintaining and evolving computer networks or systems in accordance with the needs of the organization. Provides technical support to networks and systems in liaison with IT help desk support. Assumes a front-line advisory role with internal or external stakeholders on issues or projects. Provides ideas and contributes to problem solving through analysis and in-depth knowledge. Participates in the development of tools, policies and practices. Seen by peers as a reference. Willing to share and teach knowledge. Duties And Responsibilities
- Participates in the technological monitoring of systems and networks
- Improvement and maintenance of systems and network architectures.
- Leads and actively participates in different projects and upgrades of the network infrastructure
- Participates in the preparation of documentation and technical procedures.
- Carry out any other tasks necessary and required by the company.
Qualifications
- University degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5-9 years’ relevant experience.
- Technical knowledge:
- Good knowledge of Windows and Server OS.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange and Microsoft/Office 365.
- Good knowledge of switches, routers, VLANs, ARP, OSPF and general networking
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy (GPO).
- Good knowledge of network protocols: DHCP, DNS, 802.11, 802.1x, ACLs, SSL, TLS, SSL Certs.
- The MCSE, MCP, CCNA, Network + are assets. o Knowledge of MS SQL and Oracle are assets.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Bilingual (French-English).
- Eager to learn.
- Attention to details.
- Able to handle stress.
- Available to travel to Nunavik (Quebec internal flights).
