Why Join Our Client? Our Client is a mid sized General Contractor with over 3 decades building commercial and institutional structures across Alberta. As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for the management of all field and site-specific construction activities. You will collaborate with the Project Manager and leadership team to from preconstruction activities including the project design through to planning budget, schedule and risk management; which will allow you to be well positioned to manage the execution of all activities on site for successful close out and delivery to client.

What You'll Do: Manage on-site field operations to ensure timely and efficient execution of projects. Maintain excellent working relationships with clients, subcontractors, stakeholders, labour and industry partners. Lead a work environment that fosters respect, develops and motivates employees, promotes teamwork, personal responsibility and opportunities for growth and advancement. Oversee onsite delivery and administration of a variety of construction projects.

What We're Looking For: Ten or more years experience managing institutional and commercial construction projects for a large general contractor. Technical diploma and/or Gold Seal certification are considered asset. Design- Build and lump sum contracts experience is desired. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools, Bluebeam and Procore for monitoring schedules and document control. Strong leadership and collaboration skills, leading all field personnel, including sub-trades; and working closely with the Senior Project Manager, and with other members of the project team off-site. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Experience building schools across Alberta is an asset.
