About the role
Like New Car Care is looking for an experienced Detailer who takes pride in precision, consistency, and delivering a true “like new” finish — every time.
This is not an entry-level role. We are seeking someone who understands professional-grade detailing standards, works efficiently without compromising quality, and treats every vehicle as a reflection of their craftsmanship. From paint correction and interior reconditioning to final presentation, your attention to detail directly impacts our reputation and customer satisfaction.
If you are dependable, take ownership of your work, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where high standards matter, we want to hear from you.
Role Summary: The Detailer is responsible for cleaning, polishing, and preparing vehicles to ensure they meet dealership and customer expectations for quality and appearance. This role supports both the Sales and Service departments by ensuring all vehicles are presented in excellent condition, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the dealership’s professional image.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Clean and detail the interior and exterior of new, used, and customer vehicles.
-
Wash, wax, vacuum, shampoo, and polish vehicles using approved products and methods.
-
Perform thorough inspections to ensure vehicles meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
-
Safely move vehicles around the lot, service area, and delivery bays.
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area, tools, and equipment.
-
Report any vehicle damage, defects, or concerns to the manager immediately.
-
Follow all safety procedures and use protective equipment where required.
-
Support vehicle deliveries and customer handovers by ensuring vehicles are spotless and presentation-ready.
-
Assist with lot duties as needed (e.g., moving, staging, or organizing vehicles).
Qualifications & Requirements:
-
Minimum 1 year of experience in detailing.
-
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
-
Physically capable of standing, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
-
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
-
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed.
If you take pride in producing exceptional results and want to be part of a team that values skill, consistency, and professionalism, we encourage you to apply. At Like New Car Care, quality is our standard — and experienced detailers who share that commitment have the opportunity to build a long-term role with us.
