  • Preparing, keying, and validating financial entries for DDA chargebacks, GL adjustments, suspense accounts, and offsetting entries.
  • Investigating posting discrepancies or non confirmed items and escalating them per established procedures.
  • Reviewing branch or client-specific instructions, special handling parameters, and security profiles relevant to chargeback processing.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and routing of items, including preparation of advice, exception summaries, and required reporting.

What You Need to Succeed:
Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • 1–2 years in financial operations, chargebacks, returns processing, or GL linked workflows (asset but not required).
  • Experience handling returned items, high volume keying, or balancing processes is considered an advantage.

Skill requirements

  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Accuracy in data entry, posting, and reconciliation.
  • Ability to interpret special instructions, return reasons, and GL posting rules.
  • Familiarity with tools like IRX, CIF search, research modules, or similar systems (asset).
