Quesnel School District
The Quesnel School District is currently seeking applications for casual Indigenous Education Support Staff. Successful applicants would become members of CUPE Local 4990.
**Indigenous Education Support Requirements: ** Grade 12 graduation; Indigenous education, one year of post-secondary training in special education, or related experience would be an asset; demonstrated knowledge of and experience in working with youth of Indigenous ancestry and the Indigenous community. Applicants must have documentation of Indigenous ancestry. The current wage rate is $30.34/hour.
All applications are to include a covering letter, resume, names of at least 3 supervisory/professional references, supporting documents (e.g. confirmation of Grade 12 completion, relevant post-secondary certificates, diplomas and transcripts, certifications).
The starting hourly rate of pay for this Indigenous Education position is $30.34 per hour. All continuing positions receive a competitive benefits package and pension.
