Job Overview:

We are looking for a hardworking Gardening and Landscaping Assistant to support our team in delivering high-quality lawn care and landscaping services. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, has a strong work ethic, and is eager to learn new skills in gardening and landscaping. Note: Student applicants are welcome to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lawn Maintenance: Mow lawns, trim edges, and remove clippings to ensure a neat and professional appearance.
• Weed Control: Pull weeds, apply mulch, and maintain weed-free garden beds and lawn areas.
• Sod and Garden Installation: Assist in installing sod, planting flowers, shrubs, and trees, and preparing soil for new garden beds.
• General Landscaping Tasks: Support the team in tasks such as raking, pruning, fertilizing, and watering plants and lawns.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain tools and equipment, such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and hand tools, to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Site Cleanup: Clear debris, leaves, and other materials from job sites to maintain a tidy work environment.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate politely with clients and follow instructions to meet their landscaping needs.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required, but a passion for outdoor work and landscaping is a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver?s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Basic knowledge of gardening tools and equipment is an advantage but not required (training provided).
