Position: Electrical Design Engineer
Type: Contract Compensation: $70–$100/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities
- Develop and manage electrical parts and components for AR wearables and small electrical components.
- Collaborate with APAC vendors outside standard hours to ensure seamless integration.
- Oversee end-to-end PCB fabrication, including schematics, layouts, and form development through execution and vendor approval.
- Lead design releases for flexes and multi-layer boards (MLBs) from early design to production.
- Partner with electrical engineers and cross-functional teams to innovate flexible circuits and rigid circuit boards.
- Manage SMT and FATP builds, optimizing for schedule, quality, and yield.
Qualifications Must-Have
- 5+ years in electrical design, PCB development, or related hardware engineering roles.
- Experience with AR wearable device development.
- Familiarity with small electrical component integration in compact form factors.
- Knowledge of advanced PCB fabrication techniques and materials.
Preferred
- Experience in wearables or consumer electronics.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
