About The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, HR, the Bilingual (EN/FR) Manager, Corporate and Digital Communications leads the development and execution of integrated communication strategies that enhance organizational reputation, in partnership with cross-functional teams including Investor Relations, HR, and ESG, align employees, and engage key external stakeholders. This role ensures clear, consistent, and compelling messaging across all channels while strengthening brand identity, voice, and values in support of business priorities and overall organizational impact.

Position Responsibilities, Accountabilities And Job Duties
Internal Corporate Communications
Partner with HR and business functions to drive employee engagement, employer branding, culture, and organizational effectiveness through strategic communication Lead internal communication strategies that align employees with business priorities, culture, and change initiatives, delivering clear and engaging content across the organization Oversee executive and leadership communications, including town halls and corporate updates Own the development, maintenance, and continuous evolution of the corporate intranet, ensuring content is current, user-friendly, and aligned with organizational priorities while enhancing functionality and engagement to improve the overall employee experience Manage internal communication channels to ensure consistency, timeliness, and engagement Identify and amplify stories across sites to strengthen culture, connection, and organizational reputation
External Corporate Communications
Support executives with planning and preparations for speaking engagements, media relations, and thought leadership, while leading crisis and issues communications in collaboration with key internal functions. Develop and deliver external communications aligned to corporate strategy Lead integrated communications and sponsorship initiatives in partnership with Investor Relations, HR, Sustainability, and site teams to enhance brand reputation and ensure consistent messaging Oversee corporate events, conferences, and regional activations to deliver a cohesive and high-quality brand presence across all touchpoints
Digital Strategy and Social Media
Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide digital and social media strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate brand standards while providing oversight and guidance to site-based channels Create and curate compelling, on-brand content that drives engagement, strengthens employer brand, and enhances visibility across digital platforms Oversee intranet strategy, including content governance, management, and user experience to support employee engagement and alignment with organizational priorities Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and continuously optimize digital communication strategies
Media Relations
Serve as a media contact for Wesdome executive interviews and magazine articles Procure, coordinate and prepare executives for media interviews, including message development and media training, editing articles and design ads (as required) for publishing Periodically organize media events relating to acquisitions and special announcements, Ensure all media engagement and external messaging reflect Wesdome’s brand, values, and corporate narrative
Brand, Marketing & Creative Services
Oversee and maintain the Company’s brand identity and standards across all corporate and site communications, marketing materials, media engagement, campaigns, and visual assets, ensuring consistent messaging, quality, and alignment with the Company’s values and corporate narrative.
Qualifications And Experience
5-8 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, with demonstrated leadership across external, internal, and digital communications in a complex, multi-site organization Fluently bilingual in English and French, with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences and regional contexts Strong expertise in digital strategy and social media, with a track record of building and managing high-performing, data-driven communication platforms Experience influencing and guiding site teams toward communications best practices, ensuring consistency in brand, messaging, and execution while respecting regional context and priorities Proven experience advising senior executives, and leading high-impact communications, including crisis management Experience developing and executing integrated communication strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams such as Investor Relations, HR, and Sustainability Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business priorities into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences Demonstrated ability to lead brand strategy and ensure consistency across all channels, campaigns, and stakeholder touchpoints Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field or relevant experience.
