Position Summary
Iconic Power Systems is experiencing steady growth as we continue to build long-term relationships with existing clients and develop new partnerships by providing consistently high-quality products and services.
The Project Coordinator works closely with the Project Management Team, Construction Supervisors, Operations, and Procurement to support the successful delivery of projects. This role is responsible for project administration, coordination, reporting, scheduling, documentation management, and supporting project execution from initiation through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Support Project Managers, Construction Supervisors, and Operations in the successful execution of projects. Prepare and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project and/or Excel. Coordinate project documentation, including RFIs, change management logs, document control, and project records. Assist with quantity accruals, invoicing, cash flow updates, and forecasting activities. Prepare client reports and project submissions. Coordinate project logistics and material requirements. Maintain accurate and organized project documentation. Work closely with Project Controllers and Project Managers to ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. Support procurement activities to ensure equipment and materials are available when required. Assist in ensuring permits, equipment, and materials are in place to support construction activities. Foster positive client relationships through professional communication and service. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of project workflows and company resources.
Qualifications
Required Minimum 5 years of experience in a project-based role. Knowledge of construction project lifecycles. General knowledge of high-voltage construction and civil earthworks. Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Valid Class 5 Driver's License. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Assets
College or University education in a related field. Design-Build project experience. Knowledge of project financial management, including forecasting and reporting. Experience using Microsoft Project. Demonstrated understanding of health and safety practices and procedures within a construction environment.
