We are currently looking for a skilled Agricultural Service Technician who is passionate about agriculture, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in keeping farm equipment running at peak performance.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
As an Agricultural Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of agricultural equipment, ensuring our customers can plant, harvest, and operate efficiently throughout the season.
- Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing agricultural equipment including tractors, combines, planting and harvesting equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime during critical farming periods.
- Diagnosing complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and planning efficient repairs.
- Ordering required parts and supplies to complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Communicating clearly with customers regarding work performed, equipment condition, and recommended future repairs. Completing accurate service reports and documentation.
- Delivering exceptional customer service while working collaboratively within a team environment.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Previous experience servicing and repairing agricultural equipment; heavy equipment experience considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and drivetrains commonly found in farm machinery.
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and work efficiently under seasonal time pressures.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with a farmer-first mindset.
- Comfortable using diagnostic software, computers, and evolving ag technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Agricultural Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Equipment Technician license preferred.
- High school diploma and valid driver’s license required.
