Your job
- Support the Bank's sectors in their U.S. tax transactions with advanced technical expertise
- Handle complex requests from partners and the IRS identifying and resolving operational problems
- Review and improve existing processes to simplify and standardise tax tasks
- Ensure the rigour of data reported to the IRS and U.S. income reconciliations
- Help issue U.S. tax slips for business lines and partners
- Contribute to technological and regulatory projects thanks to in-depth tax expertise
Your team
Reporting to the Senior Director of US Tax Operations, you will be part of a team of 10 colleagues and play a key role in the evolution of practices and quality within the sector.

Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five or more years of relevant experience or any other combination of training and experience deemed equivalent
- Knowledge of investment products (securities) and experience in operations
- Knowledge of Canadian or U.S. tax rules
- Advanced Excel level (manipulation of large databases, advanced formulas, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of documentation, planning and presentation tools (e.g. SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA, PowerBI, etc.)
- Knowledge of one or more systems: ISM/T80, AS400, Global+, accurate
- Good management of time, priorities and ability to work under pressure
- Well organisation of work with advanced planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal relationships
- Sense of initiative, discipline, strong ability to take charge and ability to operate in solution mode
Languages:
English, French
Reason to require this language: you will need to collaborate with a regulator/authority/government body outside Quebec.
