Description Location : 200, Route 100, Morden, MB

Shift : Rotation with some On Call responsibilities

We’re looking for someone for Plant Maintenance to help keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance and inspections, completing light fabrication projects, and accurately documenting work completed. The ideal candidate is safety‑minded, mechanically skilled, comfortable using computers and technical manuals, and works well alongside operators and teammates in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety protocols and report hazards proactively.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance work and equipment status.
  • Fabrication projects such as carts, guards, jigs, etc.

Key Competencies

  • Safety conscious work habits: create a safe work environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to read blueprints, repair manuals, parts manuals.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Communicate respectfully and tactfully with operators and peers.
  • Fluent in English.

Experience & Education

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license.
  • Red Seal Millwright or equivalent an asset but not required.
