Science North is looking for Science Demonstrators for weekday availability or weekend only availability. At the Science Centre, our staff (known as Bluecoats) inspire, engage, and educate visitors by delivering exciting science shows and workshops across a wide range of scientific fields. Bluecoats collaborate with experts to gain knowledge in various lab areas and develop creative, hands-on ways to share this knowledge with diverse audiences. As a Bluecoat, you will share their passion and wow our visitors in an immersive environment. You need to have a keen interest in science with a willingness to learn, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. If you have a passion for science and learning we’ll teach you the science you need to know to be successful!
This part-time position offers flexible scheduling, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Ideally you must have availability either weekdays or weekends only.
Science North provides services in both official languages. Fluency in English is required and fluency in spoken French is an asset but not a requirement for this position. Opportunities to work at both Science North and Dynamic Earth sites.
