About the role

Senior Account Management & Business Development

Smart Infrastructure / Electrification & Automation Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid – ~50% strategic accounts | ~50% regional business development)

Overview This role is responsible for driving revenue growth across strategic accounts and the broader Quebec market within Smart Infrastructure solutions. The position combines senior‑level account management with regional business development, acting as a trusted advisor to customers while developing and converting complex project opportunities. The focus spans Electrification and Automation, including Medium Voltage Power Distribution and scalable microgrids with renewable integration (solar and battery systems).

Key Responsibilities

Account & Customer Management Develop and execute account plans for assigned strategic industrial and utility customers Build and maintain senior‑level relationships across customer organizations Identify opportunities to expand share of wallet across hardware, software, and integrated solutions Lead value‑creation workshops to position technical and commercial solutions Maintain accurate, transparent CRM data for accounts and opportunities

Sales & Business Development Identify, qualify, and convert complex sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders Collaborate across internal business units to deliver integrated Electrification and Automation solutions Develop and manage annual business plans and sales targets in alignment with internal teams Apply digital tools and applications to accelerate sales cycles and customer decision‑making Represent the organization at regional, national, and international industry events as required

Market & Strategic Leadership Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activity within Quebec Contribute to go‑to‑market strategies for new products and solutions within assigned accounts Coordinate internal engineering, sales, and support teams to resolve complex customer issues Operate effectively within a matrix environment across multiple functions and business lines

Success Metrics & KPIs

Revenue & Growth Achievement of annual sales targets across strategic accounts and regional business Year‑over‑year revenue growth within assigned territory Development and maintenance of a qualified pipeline equivalent to 2–3x annual target

Account Management Measurable increase in share of wallet within key accounts High customer satisfaction scores across assigned accounts Completion and quarterly review of account plans for all strategic customers

Market Expansion Market share growth within the Quebec Smart Infrastructure segment Acquisition of new strategic customers annually Increased penetration of cross‑business solutions within existing accounts

Operational Excellence High accuracy and timeliness of CRM and pipeline data Consistent participation in cross‑business reviews and joint pursuits Effective collaboration with internal stakeholders across functions

Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of experience within the Quebec electrical utility or related infrastructure market Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; MBA considered an asset Proven experience leading and winning large, complex projects Technical background in Medium Voltage Switchgear, protection relays, and microgrids with renewable integration Strong understanding of Electrification, Automation, and Digitalization solutions Established network across end users, consultants, contractors, integrators, and EPCs in Quebec Experience working with utilities, OEMs, integrators, and EPC organizations Familiarity with digital technologies including cloud platforms, SaaS, and cybersecurity concepts Consultative sales approach with demonstrated business development capability Entrepreneurial, self‑directed working style

Language Requirements Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is mandatory due to regular interaction with stakeholders across Canada and internationally.
