Supervisor - Maintenance Where will you work: - Esterhazy K3, Saskatchewan, Canada Work Schedule: - 5/5/4 About The Role The Supervisor, Maintenance supervises and coordinates activities of maintenance in an industrial setting. Assists workers in troubleshooting equipment problems based on observations and applying knowledge of past experience.
What will you do?
- Establish internal work standards and hold organization to the agreed standards.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the miner rebuild are considered, from mechanical to electrical to automation including parts delivered and coordination of the rebuild program.
- Ensuring lowering and rigging plans are in place where required and identifying and establishment of kitting and staging areas
- Working with all internal and external stakeholders to improve and maintain QA/QC on parts delivered to K3 and ensure logistics are in place to store, kit and handle materials.
- Works with underground capital management teams to execute scheduled items by contractors in the workplace and coordinates activities of contractors to meet team objectives.
- Required to organize and support personnel in developing and safely executing 4 rotor miner re-builds to maintain capital schedule compliance.
- Develop and motivate workforce for high performance maintenance team.
- The role may have other duties assigned as workload varies.
What You’ll Need
- High School/GED required. Technical Secondary School: Related Field preferred.
- 8+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience, SAP experience preferred
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and 5S is an asset including an understanding of 4 rotor miners and their operation and or maintenance.
- Saskatchewan Underground Direct Supervisor Certification required or ability to meet requirements to obtain.
- Good working relationship with the production, maintenance and engineering departments. Also required to form key relationships with hourly employees, inspectors, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaic's pre-employment checks including criminal, drug and alcohol testing
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
