Vulnerability Management Analyst (AI Training)
About The Role
We partner with the world's leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models — and we need security practitioners who know how vulnerability management actually works in the real world.
This isn't a theoretical exercise. You'll work with realistic CVEs, exposure scenarios, and remediation workflows to help AI systems reason about security the way experienced analysts do. Your hands-on expertise becomes the foundation for smarter, more reliable AI in cybersecurity.
Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and exposure scenarios across infrastructure and application environments Classify severity, exploitability, and business impact using real-world risk frameworks Evaluate patching, mitigation, and remediation decision-making scenarios for accuracy and quality Generate, label, and validate security-reasoning data used to train and evaluate AI systems Review AI-generated security analysis outputs and provide structured, expert feedback
Who You Are
2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security Familiar with CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks (CVSS, EPSS, SSVC, etc.) You understand the gap between theoretical risk scores and what actually needs to be fixed in production A clear, structured, and analytical thinker who can document reasoning precisely Comfortable working independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments
Nice to Have
Experience with tools like Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or Wiz Familiarity with cloud, container, or hybrid infrastructure environments Background in threat intelligence or exposure management Prior experience contributing to AI training or evaluation projects
