About the role
MatchBox Consulting Group is recruiting a Proposal Manager on behalf of a well-established and growing construction organization in Vancouver.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proposal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading pursuit submissions from strategy through final delivery. Working closely with senior leadership, pre-construction, and operations teams, you'll play a key role in winning exciting projects while helping shape proposal processes and best practices.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead the development and delivery of RFQs, RFPs, EOIs, and other pursuit submissions. Manage proposal schedules, timelines, and submission requirements to ensure deadlines are met. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather technical information and develop compelling proposal content. Review and refine submissions for accuracy, quality, compliance, and overall presentation. Support interview preparation, presentation development, and shortlisted pursuits. Maintain proposal content libraries, CRM data, and pursuit tracking tools. Mentor and support proposal team members while helping improve processes and standards. Collaborate with business development, estimating, and operations teams to support growth initiatives and strategic pursuits.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of proposal, business development, marketing, or pursuit management experience within construction, engineering, architecture, or a related professional services environment. Strong understanding of proposal and procurement processes, including RFQs and RFPs. Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously. Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, and CRM platforms. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
