Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities – Toronto Marathon
About the role
onSunday, May 3, 2026, SickKids Foundation will be hosting a water station at theToronto Marathon, and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to represent the Foundation!
Event Details
Date: Sunday, May 3, 2026
Shift Time: 6:30am – 12:30pm
Location: Exhibition Place, Toronto
Exact location details will be shared closer to event day.
Responsibilities:
Volunteers will support the SickKids Foundation water station by:
- Assisting with setup and teardown
- Refilling water buckets and mixing beverages
- Handing water to race participants
- Making cheer signs and encouraging runners
- Bringing positive energy and working as a team
- Standing for up to 6 hours

If you’re interested in volunteering, please email Volunteers@sickkidsfoundation.com byFriday, April 24, 2026. This is a great opportunity to participate with families as well as we kids from the age of 14 can participate alongside an adult!
Please note that successful volunteers will be required to attend a virtual orientation session on Thursday, April 30th at 4:00pm or view the recorded meeting if unable to attend.
