Make a real difference in the lives of Yukoners! We are looking for an organized team player with excellent critical thinking skills, sound judgment and a positive, client-centred approach!

Reporting to the Director, Policy and Communications, as the Senior Communications Advisor, you’ll be providing a wide range of strategic communications products and services at all levels of the corporation. A sharp eye for detail and consistency when drafting and editing your work is required.

If you deliver excellent client service, are able to foster relationships across branches, and thrive in a busy environment with friendly folks, this is the opportunity for you!

Post-secondary education in communications, journalism, public administration or other related field. Considerable experience developing and implementing speaking notes, communications strategies, communications plans, radio scripts, etc. Experience working with external stakeholders to plan and carry out communications plans Experience in social media and running Facebook advertising campaigns, for example, is an asset Experience in web communications development or design is an asset

Candidates who have education, training and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above will be equally considered.

Ability to write clear and concise documents on complex issues
