About the role

Position Summary... This role forms the foundation of a data-driven culture, leveraging ecommerce, physical store, and external data to understand customer behavior, improve operational efficiencies, and provide actionable insights for smarter, data-driven decisions.

What You'll Do... This role may lead the data science development process with hands-on analysis and modeling, utilizing various analytical methods to address business challenges appropriately. Articulating business questions and using mathematical techniques to derive answers from data, the role also translates analysis results into business recommendations.

This role may identify and communicate challenges and opportunities for the data science team, helping define the analytical direction and influencing associated engineering and infrastructure work. Ad-hoc analyses may be performed, with results presented concisely and persuasively to stakeholders.

Creating production-ready code for deployment into clusters or other APIs, the role determines the necessary tracking for enabling products and features by collaborating closely with product, marketing, operations, and engineering partners. Additionally, the role engages broadly to identify, prioritize, frame, and structure complex challenges where advanced analytics projects or tools can have significant impacts. work closely with ML engineers for prod deployment and enabling data drifts

This role also builds metrics, reports, and dashboards embedded with data science algorithms using various visualization tools such as Tableau and RShiny. Enabling others to utilize the work, the role acts as an ambassador for data science within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications: Option 1- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years' experience in Data science related field.

Option 2- Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 1 years' experience in Data science related field.

Option 3 - 5 years' experience in an analytics or Data science field.

Preferred Data science, machine learning, optimization models, Master’s degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Successful completion of one or more assessments in Python, Spark, Scala, or R, Using open-source frameworks (for example, scikit learn, tensorflow, torch).
