Summer Student - Supply Chain - Burlington
About the role
Position Summary: Reporting to the Manager, Distribution, the Distribution Summer Student will support with: invoicing, general office related duties, and provides administrative support for the department.
Key Accountabilities:
- Customer service skills for dealing with Drivers and Transport Companies;
- Invoicing of Domestic/USA/Mexico loads shipping from Burlington Facility;
- Completing export documentation for US and Mexico loads;
- Completing documents for domestic loads within Canada;
- Support other Traffic department staff as required.
Requirements:
- Actively enrolled in Supply Chain or Business Administration post secondary;
- Adapts quickly to new processes or systems;
- Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel);
- Well organized and detail oriented;
- Can work in a high paced environment;
- Hours are 4:00PM to 12:30AM Monday to Friday (**timing is subject to change).
- This is an active vacancy
- $18/hour
