About the role
Service Manager – Prince George, BC
Do you enjoy leading teams, solving problems, and making operations run like clockwork? We’re looking for a Service Manager to oversee and grow our Service Department at our Prince George, BC dealership. You’ll play a key role in driving team performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and keeping our service operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and mentor the Service team to deliver excellent results
- Oversee day-to-day operations, scheduling, and quality assurance
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism
- Manage staffing, training, and performance evaluations
- Monitor department KPIs and financial targets, taking corrective action when needed
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards
- Handle recruitment, hiring, and workforce planning
- Build strong relationships with employees, suppliers, and customers
- Promote a positive, productive, and safe work environment
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma (post-secondary diploma/degree in a technical or mechanical field preferred)
- 5+ years of management experience in a technical, mechanical, RV, or automotive environment
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Mechanical knowledge with proven ability in repair techniques and maintenance operations
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Red Seal Certification (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
Compensation: $80,000–$95,000 annually, plus bonus. Compensation will be determined based on relevant RV industry experience.
