If you are early in your career, we have a vacancy and a great opportunity for you to join our Integrity Programs team in the role of Early Career Integrity Engineer! In this role you will be responsible for conducting pipeline integrity assessment and analysis for transmission pipelines in the Enbridge Gas Inc. system, including but not limited to Corrosion, Crack, and Deformation Threat Management. Apply today! Note: Internal job title is TIMP EIT II What You Will Do: Execute threat management programs for assigned pipelines in the Enbridge Gas Inc. transmission system. Contribute to the team objective of achieving safety targets including zero rupture and zero leak goals. Assess pipelines for retrofits prior to in-line inspection, select inspection technologies and techniques, determine re-inspection frequency of pipelines. Analyze data from Inline Inspection, Direct Assessment, Hydrotesting and Non-Destructive Examination. Inspect (NDE) field results and determine actions such as required Integrity Digs and Repairs, as well as pipeline Fitness for Service. Support the development of threat management programs as assigned. Who You Are: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized university. 2+ years of engineering experience related to oil and gas or pipeline operations. Experience with cross disciplinary teams. Solid understanding of transmission pipeline systems. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Pipeline Integrity experience is preferred. Working Conditions: Office environment. Less than 5% of travel is required for the occasional visits to other office and/or field locations. Valid passport is required. Salary: Ranges from $78,000 – $85,000 CAD for Canadian locations (except Alberta) based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
