About the role

In data enablement at PwC, you will focus on innovating and delivering digital services for a given enterprise resource planning (ERP) or area of the business. You will have specialised knowledge of your given ERP or business area, coupled with broader skills in data extraction, acquisition, manipulation, visualisation and modelling, as well as IT controls, to support delivering services to clients (internal or external).

As an Integration Consultant, Senior Associate, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—offshore and onshore managers, architects, developers, and business analysts—to deliver robust, scalable integration solutions. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of integrations using modern iPaaS, ESB, and API-led architectures. You will also provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Integration Design & Development

  • Design and develop integration solutions using MuleSoft/Workato/Azure Platforms following standard connectivity principles.
  • Build APIs, connectors, orchestrations, data mappings, and reusable components.
  • Develop flows in IDEs leveraging industry-leading integration design patterns.
  • Design RAML/OAS specifications.
  • Implement data transformations
  • Support both real-time and batch integration development.

Platform & Technical Expertise

  • Work with various integration technologies including MuleSoft, Workato, Azure Integration Services, Kong, Apigee, Boomi, TIBCO, etc.
  • Use API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Access Management for configuration and governance.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance (core/vCore/memory utilization).
  • Implement robust error handling, logging, and exception management.

Quality, Testing & Documentation

  • Write MUnit test cases and prepare unit test documentation.
  • Support integration testing and create end-to-end testing documentation.
  • Prepare and review technical design documents (HLD/LLD).
  • Participate in code reviews ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines.

Experiences and skillsyou’lluse to solve

  • Hands-on experience with MuleSoft 4.x OR Workato OR Azure Integration Services
  • Experience with integration tools such as Azure API Management, Kong, Apigee, Boomi, TIBCO, etc.
  • Strong understanding of SOAP and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with XML, JSON, and flat-file formats.
  • Experience with version control tools (SVN, GitHub).
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience writing SQL queries.
  • Exposure to messaging systems like ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Anypoint MQ.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies (SCRUM).
  • Knowledge of Java, microservices, Spring, and Hibernate.
  • Experience with connectors/integrations to systems like Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, etc.
  • MuleSoft MCD–Level 1 OR Workato Automation Pro I, II & III OR Azure Integration Certifications
  • Experience with proposal writing, creating architecture diagrams, effort estimations for development, sales/pre-sales activities.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and databases.
  • Experience with integration patterns, Pub/Sub, Webhooks, and microservices.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, etc.) for custom components.
  • Deep knowledge of data management, mapping, transformation, and real-time synchronization.
  • Experience working in offshore/onshore engagement models. Domain Experience in Utilities, Insurance, Public Sector etc.

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
