Animal Hospital of Cambridge is looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our compassionate, dedicated team of veterinary professionals.
At Animal Hospital of Cambridge, we are proud to offer dedicated veterinary care and emergency services seven days a week , including extended evening hours . As you step into our state-of-the-art facility, expect to be welcomed by a warm and friendly team devoted to providing exceptional care. Serving furry friends in Cambridge , Kitchener-Waterloo , and Guelph for almost 20 years, we take pride in our longstanding commitment to the well-being of your beloved cats and dogs.
With more than ten experienced veterinarians and 30 support staff, we leverage our extensive expertise and certifications to deliver superior pet care experience. We accept referrals from other veterinarians for specialized veterinary services, including Nutrition Consultations with our Board-Certified Veterinary Nutritionist and for Orthopedic Services with our Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. With our team’s expertise and dedication to exceptional care, you can trust that your pet will receive top-quality animal healthcare tailored to their individual needs.
Animal Hospital of Cambridge is spacious, newly constructed, 14,000 sq clinic that is AAHA accredited & Gold Level Cat Friendly . Our team utilizes Fear Free techniques & uses Hands Free Radiology techniques to promote a safe work environment. Our hospital has multiple surgical suites, digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental suites with digital x-ray, a spacious & well-designed treatment area & we have board-certified orthopedic surgeons on staff.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Provincial DVM licensing, or eligibility to be licensed
- Passion for what you do every day
- Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude are a must
- A strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work evenings (until 8:30pm) and rotating weekends
