About the Position: RWDI is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join and contribute to ourEnvironmental Noise & Vibrationteam in Ontario as a**Senior Scientist/Engineer.**This role supports clients across the buildings, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with deep expertise in environmental permitting and the land use planning process in Ontario. Depending on experience and interest, the successful applicant may also be considered for a supervisory position within the team.

##Key Responsibilities
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Participating in peer and design reviews, land use planning, EASR/ECA submissions, and hearing preparation.
- Maintaining a client-focused approach, using your technical expertise to support the success of client projects.
- Working closely with junior staff to advance their knowledge and abilities.
- Support field measurement programs and data analysis as required.
- Applying best practices and in-depth knowledge of the Ontario regulatory environment to support RWDI’s clients.
- Contributing to environmental assessments and related documentation.
- Depending on aptitude and interest, the successful candidate may be considered for a supervisory role within the team.
##Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
We are accepting applications from candidates with the following qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline, with eligibility for P.Eng registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) is preferred.
- Candidates without P.Eng eligibility but with significant, relevant experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Environmental Noise and Vibration.
- Availability to work in person at our office in Guelph, ON.
- Valid driver’s license required.

- A background and interest in coding, particularly in Python
- An interest in electronics and instrumentation
