What it's all about:
HearCANADA is hiring a full-time fixed term contract (~3 months with potential for extension) Scheduling and Inside Sales Specialist (internally called an Inside Sales Specialist ) to join our Client Services team.
To succeed in this role, you will have a passion for delivering exceptional hearing health to HearCANADA's clients. You are sales-minded, with the ability to discuss product promotions and hearing care appointment options with a wide variety of clients across Canada. There is no cold calling required in this role, so we expect our Inside Sales Specialists to utilize existing leads to grow our client base by depicting HearCANADA's clinics as their destination of choice for top-tier hearing care.
Position details:
- Contract position: This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) contract position which will be approximately 3 months in length, ending in February 2026 to cover an employee leave. Potential for extension may be offered.
- Core hours: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm EST, Monday to Friday with some infrequent Saturday hours (approximately once per quarter) and some infrequent adjustment of hours to cover for colleagues (notice provided)
- Location: Remote position within Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, or British Columbia
- Languages : The primary language requirement is English, but preference will be given to applicants who are bilingual in French and English.
- Compensation: $23 - $25 / hour based on experience + 6% vacation pay paid out biweekly due to the position being a fixed-term contract role. Contract employees can participate in the benefit plan as there is no waiting period.
What you will do:
- Support sales targets by contacting prospective clients (warm leads) to book an appointment with a hearing care professional in one of our many clinics across Canada
- Identify client needs and new sales opportunities, introduce promotions, and book hearing care appointments
- Meet and exceed daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and overall targets while ensuring each interaction is consistent with standards of HearCANADA
- Participate in daily/weekly team meetings to share feedback and practice sales skills
- Maintain a high-volume calling plan and update all pertinent client information in appointment system (CRM)
- Communicate and work effectively with clinic teams to maximize booking schedules
What we are looking for:
- 1+ years experience in inside sales or high-volume appointment scheduling
- Health industry experience is considered an asset
- Able to exercise empathy, and lead the conversation to obtain client bookings with individuals experiencing hearing loss
- Effective communication in the English language, both verbally and in writing
- Bilingualism in French would be considered a definite asset
- Highly motivated and goal-driven to exceed KPIs
- Prior experience with CRM systems, and willing to learn new software and tools
- Strong integrity, professionalism, and work ethic
- Ability to work independently
