Job Synopsis
Niverville MCC Thrift shop is a local thrift store that sells donated goods to assist with relief, development and peace in the name of Christ. MCC Manitoba is part of Anabaptist churches' worldwide ministry that shares God's love and compassion for all. MCC responds to basic human needs and works for relief, development and peace, locally and globally. In all programs around the globe MCC is committed to relationships with local partners and churches.
The Floor Supervisor is responsible to assist the Manager with the day-to-day store management. This position is for Wednesday evenings, Saturdays and other casual hours as they are available. There will be a guaranteed 8-12 hours/week.

Qualifications
- excellent organizational skills
- the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- self motivated
- able to work independently as well as part of a team
- knowledge of MCC, and the ability to articulate the mission and work of MCC is an asset
- previously having worked with volunteers is preferable
Key Responsibilities
- provide friendly customer service to volunteers, donors, and customers
- supervise, assist and train volunteers
- provide cashier support
- stock and tidy store
- store cleaning
